I suspect this has occurred with the latter, no offense especially as people have already complained that "hitmanpro" GAVE them problems: For the most part, the larger companies know about (and have tested) these legitimate programs (Norton, F-prot, Kaspersky, Avira, Comodo, AVG/Grisoft, McAffee, Microsoft (Security Essentials), etc) but the little private ones/self-made detectors do not (such as many small "anti-malware" progams). These two actions (injecting itself and catching keystrokes) are also done by malware (such as Trojans) so sometimes protection programs flag it as a 'positive identification of something fishy', just to try help protect you. One of them is inject itself so that it can display it's Status (FPS, "I am recording" color change, etc) and also catch your keystrokes while playing a game (to start recording, take a screenshot, etc). Game recording programs can also set off 'False Positives' with AV programs (I have had this happen in the past) because of some of the things recording programs try to do. It is unfortunate that so many 'call home' (as we used to say), but it helps to protect the developers from fake installs/fake keys/etc. If I may pop in here, Bandicam seems to ask for internet access to check the serial number and for updates.
